About

A Boutique Casting Company

With more than 30 years of casting experience in film and television, Anne Chapman has a keen eye for finding just the right actor to fit a part, whether it's a Revolutionary War soldier or a telephone installer. Her boutique casting company specializes in independent and small-scale film and television projects. To be certain she's presenting the best talent, she is always on the lookout for gifted actors and that diligence sets her apart.

Anne's deep knowledge of Virginia's actor and crew base makes her a valuable asset as she works closely with directors, writers and producers. Versatile and able to scale her efforts to meet a project's needs, she has lent her enthusiasm and expertise to hundreds of productions ranging from dramas about seminal moments in American history, like Lincoln and Loving, to 30-second spots for Sparkle Paper Towels.

In addition to working on professional productions, Anne serves as casting director/adjunct professor for VCUarts' cinema department. She has cast more than 150 student films there since 2007 and enjoys assisting students as they learn about the process. Having had strong mentors when she started out, she believes wholeheartedly in helping to illuminate the path for the next generation of casting directors.
